Please be assured that your memorial buffet menu order will be handled in the most efficient manner and with the utmost respect. Special Occasions Catering is a local catering company based in Kings lynn and can deliver a top quality memorial buffet menu along with hot and cold refreshments.  We are able to set up at your venue and supply plates and napkins.

Classic Hot Buffet

  • Beef Bourguignon ~ Classic French dish of beef sirloin cooked in red wine with bacon, shallots and mushroom.
  • Carbonnade à la flamande ~ A simple dish of beef steak cooked in beer.
  • Chicken Fricassée ~ Chicken Supremes cooked in white wine and mushroom sauce with tarragon.
  • Thai Green Chicken Curry ~ Chicken breast cooked with coriander, lemon grass and coconut milk.
  • Casserole of Toulouse ~ A slow cooked sausage and haricot bean casserole with added shoulder of pork and lamb to make this a wonder meaty dish.
  • Poached Salmon ~ The fresh salmon is poached in court bullion decorated with prawns and served with a hollandaise sauce and gravlax.
  • .Fish Pie ~ A selection of white fish and prawns cooked with a creamy white dill sauce and topped with piped fluffy potatoes.
  • Ratatouille ~ A selection of Mediterranean vegetables cooked in a tomato pasata.
  • Risotto ~ An Italian rice dish with wild mushrooms and roasted peppers. Should you require a small quantity or individual vegetarian dish, this can be provided.

Our high quality traditional 2, 3 and 4 course menus can be tailored to suit your taste, service and budget. Three course menus start from £25.00 pp.   Our commissions vary wildly in their individual requirements for staffing, equipment, linens, tableware, glassware, guest numbers and timings and so we will work with you to quote these additional items to meet your own requirements.
